Nonprofit Jobs

Posted in Employment/Volunteer Opportunities tagged at 11:16 am by CrystalineGoddess

I’ve been looking for work in the nonprofit sector and have found these sites to help.

Also look on the website of the organization you wish to work for, as often they will have an employment, action and/or volunteer opportunities tab. Some even have an option to have the job ads sent to your inbox, such as Good Work Canada. You may not get a job right away, but volunteering will help build your resume and sometimes helps you to hear of more jobs.

Other things that can help you are writing letters for your charity, signing petitions, attending the events they hold, joining rallies and simply supporting them in any way you can. Get to know people in the organization while you help out, as they are going to be more comfortable hiring people they know.
