TAKE ACTION: The G20 must invest in the future, starting now!

Hi everyone,

The leaders of the world’s largest economies are meeting in Canada at the end of June to make decisions that will affect the future of our planet. Tell the  G20 countries to put money towards a cleaner, more sustainable future!

Background:

The G20 – the grouping of the world’s largest economies – are meeting in Canada on June 26th and 27th, when they will make decisions affecting the future of life on our planet.

Despite the inability of world leaders to reach a comprehensive global agreement in the Copenhagen UN Climate Summit last December, climate change has not gone away.   In Copenhagen, world leaders promised to provide funding to help poorer countries and those most vulnerable to the effects of climate change, but that money has not yet materialized.

WWF supporters of this petition will be added to the ‘At The Table’ campaign petition, joining tens of thousands of others from around the world who want our leaders to end poverty, tackle global warming and create a global economy that’s fair for us all.

Take action now and sign the petition!

Owen Gibbons
Campaign Leader, Global Climate Initiative

P.S. Please ask you friends and family to sign the WWF petition and promote it on your Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites. The more people who sign, the clearer the message will be for G20.
